5. Be honest – Integrity is crucial during an interview. Nobody likes being lied to. If they find out about your little lie, you might as well say goodbye to your chance of being hired. However, being too honest might not also get you the job. Why? Because you might be revealing all your negatives! Be honest but know when to shut up. Which leads us to...

6. Don’t complain about anything – No matter how bad things were, never ever bad mouth. Be honest but not rude. If the issue is too small, you’ll be a whiner. If the issue is too big, you’re a troublemaker. Besides, they might fear that you’ll do the same to them. Instead, offer on how you could've improved the situation if you were to do it again.

7. Sell yourself – During an interview, this is your only job. Sell yourself right and you’re sure to get the job.

8. Ask questions – In preparing for your interview, you should already have questions for the interviewer. Ask lots of questions to show your interest in the job.

9. Make eye contact – Applicants who make eye contact properly are seen by the interviewer as serious and deeply interested in the position they are applying for. If you're not good with making eye contact, practice with your friends. You'll surely thank them after the interview.

10. Smile – Relax, it's just an interview. Who knows, your smile might be attractive enough and hypnotize your interviewer into hiring you. *wink*

11. Thank your interviewer twice – Thank the interviewer the first time you meet and say your thanks again after the interview. This is to show appreciation for the opportunity and time he or she has given you. Not a lot of applicants know this, so remember to thank your interviewer twice to make a good impression.
